I worked with Geof Darrow on his comic "The Shaolin Cowboy" for a few years colouring, lettering, doing design work, basically whatever was needed that I could turn my hand to.
Here's a lovely little quiet image of the kind Geof does so well for which I think he's rarely acknowledged as it appears he's more well known for the big crowd scenes and over-the-top comically violent images that he more often asked to draw.
I can't recall if this was a cover for a foreign edition or just a image that Geof wanted it colouring for some other purpose but here it is stripped apart to show not only the final image but the line and colour separately (because I think the colour looks funny without the line), and finally with a logo.
Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteMr. Doherty, do you have any idea if Shaolin Cowboy will ever continue?
ReplyDeleteIt will, Tom. But when, I don't know.
